Opal Lighting Manufacturing Capabilities
At the heart of Opal Lighting is a traditional lighting manufacturing facility which has the in-house production capabilities to create, design and build architectural lighting luminaires from the raw materials through to finished products.
Whether these products form part of our standard range or they are the creative vision of the designer we have the ability to manufacture within our Sydney based factory.
There is almost 70 years of continuous lighting production from the manufacturing works that form the fabrication arm of Opal Lighting.
Our skill set comprises everything from metal spinning and welding of all base metals through to the design and manufacture of linear LED Light sources.
Processes that are intimately associated with lighting production include profile extruding, laser cutting, folding, stamping /pressing and finishing of metal and plastic products.
Standard factory produced products include a range of twenty one Extruded aluminium linear lighting profiles that can all be custom made to length .These profiles are typically used in a wide range of commercial and domestic projects as overhead general and task based lighting.
Our other range of standard Opal Lighting Australian produced products includes our Tubo series of surface mounted downlights and cable suspended pendants.
An established and dedicated work force has been assembled at Opal Lighting that focuses only on the production of architectural lighting products, making us a specialist lighting supplier to the Design industry.
