This basement space was cleverly converted into a library resource area as well as a staff meeting and Audio visual room.
The Nitto 65 continuous LED profile was a perfect solution, given the raw concrete ceiling with limited power access. Nitto 65 linear lighting profiles essentially serve as both a lighting profile and a conduit allowing a rectangular form of light to be created that washed light on to the vertical surfaces of the library shelves.
The addition of some Tubo surface mounted LED downlights over meeting desks completes the functionality of the space.
All light sources are dimmable for video presentations, and are fitted with occupation sensors to save energy.
